After dumping nearly 4 feet of snow over night, bringing storm totals to 7 feet, conditions were amazing at Alpine Meadows on St. Patrick’s day, March 17, 2012.
Lots of Snow
Wow, yesterday was way better than expected. We got a ton of new snow and it felt like skiing over a carpet all day. This weekend is going to be off the hook with the snow levels dropping and all this new base we have gotten.
This is Just the Beginning – Up to 7 Feet Predicted by Sunday
Here’s a little taste of what is was like at Alpine Meadows this morning. With 5-7 feet of snow predicted to fall by Sunday, hopefully this is just a sampling of what lies ahead in the days to come.
