Looking forward to the start of the 2010-11 season

Alpine Meadows Ski Resort plans to open for skiing and snowboarding on December 10, 2010, conditions permitting.

Alpine plans to open with access to the mid mountain slopes via the Roundhouse high speed quad chair and additional chair lift openings will be announced as conditions permit.

“Alpine Meadows is known for opening with top-quality snow conditions, and the goal again for this winter is to offer superb snow and more terrain choices from day one,” said Kent Hoopingarner, Alpine Meadows general manager.

Alpine Meadows will also feature plenty of new amenities and offers for Lake Tahoe skiers and snowboarders during the 2010-11 season.

Spring and projected closing day
Conditions permitting, Alpine Meadows plans to remain fully operational until April 24, 2011 and transition to a spring operating schedule with select lifts running on weekends through May 8, 2011.
