It’s an incredible thing when it happens, when a single storm drops enough snow to blanket our mountains with over three feet of new snow. The mountain goes from virtually unskiable, except for the snow blown on the groomers, to completely buried overnight. The transformation isn’t only on the mountain; it hits the people just the same. How quickly people’s moods turn from sour and discontented to stoked and full of energy. You can see it in people’s faces as the pale cheeks of fall turn quickly into rosy windburn cheeks of winter. As good as the skiing is right now, there is no better time to get out and enjoy some excellent early season turns. With more snow on the way and Alpine’s staff bustling to get more of the mountain open you can bet that the skiing is going to stay good for awhile. it sounds pretty sweet. i am going up and going to ski in about a week do u think some more chairs will be open or just i check some place else out till the conditions are right. another question too, has the terrain park crew opened the terrain to the public. The videos are sweet
