The new snow is really going to help Alpine Meadows get ready for the December 5 opening day! Although there isn’t a cloud in the sky today, temperatures remain nice and cold – so cold that snowmaking continued through the morning and into the afternoon!
Lots of skiers and riders came up to the mountain to check out all the new snow; and many brought their gear to hike up a bit and make their first turns of the season.

With these cold temps, Alpine’s snowmakers are goin’ for it, getting ready for opening day on December 5:
Oh yeah. When this baby opens, these two are definitely getting first chair.
