Friday night was one not to be missed for Alpine Meadows Season Pass Holders. The Last Chair , Alpine’s brand new Bar and Grill, opened its doors for the first time and made its debut to a room full of happy skiers and riders who enjoyed their first tracks of the season earlier in the day. To fill the stomachs of this hungry crew, delicious appetizers from the Last Chair were being served to showcase the new menu and boy were they good! My personal favorite was the mouth watering Turkey Club Panini that was made to perfection.
To make things groovier, Izabella rocked the house with a soulful dance party that had everyone movin’ and a shakin’! A good time was had by all and the excitement in the room could not be contained. Judging by this kickoff party, the 08/09 season is going to be one for the record books. See you on the slopes!

Always an interesting time at alpine
Opening day was great, and first Saturday was even better with some new snow. I’m new to the masters race program this year, and new to Alpine. Thanks to Masters Coach John Black and everyone else at the area last week for the warm welcome. As of today’s snow fall figures, it looks like we are going to have fun this year! See you on the hill!
