Avalanche danger still EXTREMEly low at Alpine Meadows as October closes out and the first good winter storms bubble over the Pacific Crest into the Tahoe Basin. Lift lines are also low, and parking is easy, free and plentiful at Alpine Meadows.
Our newest team member, Errol Kerr, Skiercross racer for the Jamaica Ski Team, hiked up to the top of Lakeview the other day to get a look at his new home mountain and assess the early season conditions.
